What makes this a more complex combination Stair / Guard Rail combination is the number of non-standard angles incorporated in the design.
We also used a glass insert n the guard rail to keep the overall finished product from looking too busy.

You can see here that the angles of the stair runs were non-standard enough that nothing short of a custom finished product wouldn't have worked. |

The spacing between the cables is critical. If not maintained through-out the entire design, it would look sloppy and half-unfinished. |

The cable ends are hidden within the cable rail hardware. |

This rather obtuse angle was so complex to fabricate that it couldn't have been done except for on-site. |

These face mounts were specially made to go around the trim at the edge of the upper floor. |

The glass panel insert at the top broke up the lines and made a beautiful accent that tied the top of the stairs into the main floor almost seamlessly. |
