A Complex Cable Rail / Guard Rail Combination

What makes this a more complex combination Stair / Guard Rail combination is the number of non-standard angles incorporated in the design.

We also used a glass insert n the guard rail to keep the overall finished product from looking too busy.

You can see here that the angles of the stair runs were non-standard enough that nothing short of a custom finished product wouldn't have worked.
The spacing between the cables is critical. If not maintained through-out the entire design, it would look sloppy and half-unfinished.
The cable ends are hidden within the cable rail hardware.
This rather obtuse angle was so complex to fabricate that it couldn't have been done except for on-site.

These face mounts were specially made to go around the trim at the edge of the upper floor.
The glass panel insert at the top broke up the lines and made a beautiful accent that tied the top of the stairs into the main floor almost seamlessly.
